We have reluctantly taken the decision not to organise a Picnic in the Park this year. This is partly because of the continuing uncertainties surrounding Covid, given that a lot of time and substantial funds are invested in the event ahead of the day, which would make a last-minute cancellation a big financial hit. We also feel that we need more personnel and volunteers to mount a successful event – that’s where you come in. Come and join our planning committee and make Picnic in the Park 2023 the best ever!
