You can walk from the city centre via Holloway. Opposite the Magdalen Chapel, next to the old fountain, follow the zig zag path all the way to the top, with marvellous views along the way.
Take the bus to Bear Flat. From there, it’s a 5 minute walk to the park up Shakespeare Avenue.
If you must drive then turn left up Shakespeare Avenue.
Please note that there are parking restrictions in Alexandra Park from 9am to 3pm. You must register with MiPermit at http://wanttopark.com/BathNES . Parking is limited to 4 hours, with the first hour being free of charge.
There are 3 disabled spaces where it is free to park. One is near the main viewpoint, one near the boules court and the other to the right of the main entrance (you must drive around the park to access it).
